For over 20 years, Florida Festivals & Events Association has been promoting and strengthening the festival, event and fair industry in Florida. FFEA currently supports more than 500 event industry professional members who collectively represent 3,500 events.

The FFEA Convention & Tradeshow will be held August 21-23 in Bonita Springs, FL. We are currently looking for topic and speaker suggestions to lead educational sessions for our 250 attendees.

Educational Session topics include: Sponsorship, Marketing, Communications & Social Media, Event Technology, Logistics & Event Operations, Volunteer Management, Personal Development, Food & Beverage Sales, Ticketing, Entertainment, Risk Management and Emergency Operations and more.

Lessons Learned (4 Festivals that experienced a hardship due to weather, construction, etc.)

Social Media Idea Session. Forget the numbers and the different platforms. Give ideas and examples of things to do on social media: contests, content, etc..

Security Changes with the current tragic events. Increased Costs Incurred. Panelist to include: local sheriff deputies, fire department, artist managers, even event staff. We recently were overwhelmed with the changes our local sheriff had implemented due to Las Vegas shooting.
